Welcome to "The Group Chat" - A Blog of Sports, Beer, and Idiots

Hello and welcome to my very first blog post! If you've ever been a part of a lively and engaging group chat with friends, you'll know how the conversations can span across a multitude of topics, from sports gambling to the best beers. That's exactly what inspired me to start "The Group Chat" - a blog that delves into the many topics discussed among my group of friends, with the hope of sharing some of the idiotic things we say and do. Also, I don't plan on telling them about this so they will need to find this on their own.

In this blog, we'll talk about a variety of subjects that are near and dear to our hearts. Expect to find content on sports gambling, with our not-so-tried-and-tested picks for all sports, as well as reviews on local beer and restaurants in our area. For the golf enthusiasts, we'll explore the best clubhouses around the North Shore and beyond, highlighting those with the perfect deck for a cold beer and a dog after a round.

As with any group chat, there's bound to be some dumb banter and memorable one-liners. So, we'll also be sharing some of the most amusing exchanges from our conversations, giving you an insight into how stupid we are.

If you're a foodie or craft beer aficionado, you'll be delighted to know that I know nothing about food or beer, just that I like to eat and drink. I plan to visit and rate local breweries and restaurants, giving you the lowdown on which ones to check out and which ones to skip.
